Thai Massage offers a deeper level of healing and well-being, by recognizing our bodies as not merely physical structures. Thai medicine also recognizes the existence of energy lines (called Sen), which correspond to different parts of the body. When these energy lines become blocked, tight muscles, stagnant energy, mental fogginess, emotional depression and physical illness can occur. Thai Massage is effective in providing relief by employing gentle pressure to trigger points, relaxing stretching techniques, and yoga type poses.
By utilizing the slow, rhythmic, deep stretches during Thai Massage, blood flow and oxygenation are enhanced throughout the body’s tissues, providing a general and calming sense of well-being and relaxation.
Thai Massage
During this service you will be fully dressed, so please wear comfortable, stretch attire for the service. The massage does not use oils or lotions. The therapist will move the person’s body into yoga-like positions (assisted), in addition to pulling and rocking the body in various other ways.
