Sauna, What to Expect?

Before, During & After Your Session

Personalize any facial with targeted enhancements designed to address specific skin concerns. These add-ons allow for deeper hydration, enhanced exfoliation, or focused treatment areas for more customized and effective results.

BEFORE Your Sauna Session

Most people do not drink enough water to begin with and now that you are using an infrared sauna and sweating, it is even more important to stay properly hydrated. Always drink plenty of water before, during and after your session. Remove all makeup to allow your skin to receive the full benefits of the IR heat during your sauna experience.

Arrive 5-10 min prior to your session. This will give you an opportunity to get checked in, use the restroom, and have one of our staff explain how to use the sauna. It is important that you arrive on time and we stay on time for sessions to allow others the curtesy of receiving their full time in the unit as well.

Wear comfortable and lightweight clothing such as athletic shorts and a tee-shirt are ok. Swimsuits are better. ‘Birthday Suit’ is best (we provide complimentary towel service). We recommend bringing clothing that is loose fitting and comfortable to put back on after your session.

DURING Your Sauna Session

One bottle of water will be provided, but it is recommended you bring additional water.

Sugar-free electrolyte drink mix packs are available for a fee ($) at reception.

A bath towel will be provided for you to lay on during your session along with a hand towel, and a cold eucalyptus towel for you to wipe off with after your session.

If at anytime during your session you feel light headed, you may discontinue use and exit the sauna.

Additional towels can be provided for $2/each.

Saunas are a wellness experience where the results are cumulative. This means the more you come in, the better you will feel. Just like working out or dieting, it will take a few sessions before benefits begin to appear. You may also notice it takes 10-20 minutes to break a sweat in your first session. This is because our saunas are heating your body directly, passively raising your core temperature 2-3 degrees, rather than simply heating your skin with hot air. This is a defining difference between infrared and traditional sauna. As your body becomes more accustomed to raising your core temperature on a regular basis, your sweat will become more excessive and start sooner into your session.

AFTER Your Sauna Session

Drink at least 24oz of water or electrolyte drink to re-hydrate.

Regular sauna sessions will help with your health goals to detoxify, heal/repair, de-stress.

When you finish your sauna session, you will continue to sweat as your body naturally cools down. Your body just flushed out a lot of toxins, so drink extra fluids throughout the day. Refresh with a cold towel provided and place used towels in the laundry hamper prior to leaving your session. Please remember to leave the sauna on, so it can be ready for the next customer.

Infrared Sauna

FIR (Far Infrared): Only FIR heater clinically shown to raise core body temp 3°. FIR activates sweat glands to provide a deeply detoxifying sweat and is beneficial in assisting the body with weight loss, muscle recovery, sleep, heart health, immunity, relaxation, detoxification and is anti-aging.

MIR (Mid Infrared): Raises the temperature in the sauna. MIR assists the body with anti-aging, sleep and recovery.
